What data we process
When you request a collection we record what you enter in the form: name, phone number, email address, collection address and vehicle details (make, model, condition, chassis number if provided). Visiting the website also logs technical data such as IP address, date and time of access and the page requested.
Why we process it
- To schedule and carry out your collection and to communicate with you
- To issue the disposal certificate when you request it
- To meet the legal record-keeping duties that apply to vehicle disposal
- To keep the website running and secure
Legal basis
We process your data to perform the contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of our overriding interest in operating the website securely. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on Art. 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR.
Sharing with third parties
For the collection itself we work with partners in the relevant region. They receive only the data needed to carry out the collection. We do not share data for advertising purposes and we do not sell data.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as it is needed to handle the collection and to meet the legal record-keeping duties for vehicle disposal. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies — in particular for language choice and form security. No third-party analytics or advertising services are embedded, and no data is sent to advertising networks.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete and receive your data, and to object to processing. Write to info@autogratisentsorgen.ch. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, to a competent supervisory authority in the EU.
Security
The website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the legal framework change. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
