Terms and Conditions

The terms for the free collection and disposal of your vehicle.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the collection and disposal of end-of-life vehicles by Schweizer & Joerg GmbH, Oltenstrasse 26, 4702 Oensingen.

2. The service

We collect your vehicle at the address you give us and pass it on for proper recycling. Collection is free of charge for you.

3. Area covered

We operate in the cantons of Solothurn, Bern, Lucerne, Basel, Aargau and Zurich. If your vehicle is outside that area, get in touch anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can take it.

4. How an order is formed

Your enquiry through the form or by phone is non-binding. The order is formed when we confirm a collection appointment with you. We propose a day and a time window for it.

5. Your obligations

  • You are the owner of the vehicle or entitled to hand it over
  • You give truthful information about the vehicle and its condition
  • You remove personal belongings before collection — we cannot accept liability for items left behind
  • You make sure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed time
  • You hand over the vehicle documents needed for deregistration, where you have them

6. Rescheduling and cancellation

Appointments can shift because of traffic, weather or short-notice events. We tell you as early as we can and agree a new time. You can also reschedule or cancel at any time, informally.

7. Handover and ownership

Ownership of the vehicle passes to us on collection. From that moment we are responsible for its further processing.

8. Disposal certificate

We issue a disposal certificate on request. Just tell us — at the collection or afterwards.

9. Deregistration

Deregistering the vehicle with the road traffic office remains your responsibility. The disposal certificate serves as your evidence.

10. Liability

We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. We are not liable for personal belongings left in the vehicle, nor for the consequences of incomplete or incorrect information about it.

11. Data protection

How we process your data is set out in our privacy policy.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Oensingen, canton of Solothurn.
